As long as I can remember I've loved taking pictures. I was the one in high school who carried a 35mm camera in my backpack.... the walls of my bedroom were plastered with 4x6's just like wallpaper. My friends made fun of me, and I know they got annoyed when I asked to take their picture for the umpteenth time that week- but guess who calls me now when they want to see pictures from high school!
Just before I left for college I got my first digital camera... same story, different tune- except I could immediately see the shot that I had taken, and I could do a do over if I wanted to. I started to pay more attention to what I was shooting, and my shots started to have purpose, and I realized that I was actually pretty good at taking pictures. Several years (and camera upgrades) later, I have a thriving professional photography business and I thank God every day that He's given me this gift to capture life, and present my clients with fabulous images that they will treasure for a lifetime!
